In order to make this sled, you’re going to have to find a wood pallet. Once you’ve acquired a pallet, tear it down so that you can make a sled out of it. In our pictures below, you can see all we tore off was a few extra pieces of supporting wood from the bottom.

Cut the pallet in half along the middle support so that you have created a frame for your sled.

Fill in the gaps with the pieces of the wood pallet you previously chopped off.

Cut out a curve in the front of your sled so that it slides down hill better.

Find some string and drill holes in the front of the sled to attach a safety rope handle.

At this stage in the build, you’re all done with the hard stuff!

Now, give your sled a shiny new coat of paint and you’re ready to rocket down a hill. have fun and be safe!
