Hello and welcome to Premier Handling Solutions’ video series on running a safer and more efficient warehouse. Today’s video will focus our latest innovation in the field of pallet transfer equipment called the ‘V Changer’ Pallet Changer.

What is the ‘V Changer’ Pallet Changer?

As our latest innovation in pallet changers, the V Changer is leading the way for hands-free pallet changing. This pallet changer can be easily loaded at ground level with a pallet truck and is great for loads that must remain with the same side facing up after the pallet has been changed. The “V” shape of the changer is great for ensuring your stack remains perfectly stacked up.

This pallet changer can clamp in a palletized load that is anywhere from 2 feet to nearly 7 feet in height, and that weighs up to 3,000 pounds.

The V Changer Pallet Changer is great for quickly and easily transferring from wood pallets to a more hygienic plastic pallet. It can also transfer outgoing pallet loads to one-way or shipping pallets.

How to Use the ‘V Changer’ Pallet Changer

Step 1. Using a pallet truck, place your pallet load into the V Changer. Watch as we show that process:

Step 2.  Walk over to the pallet changer’s controls and press the button to begin tilting the pallet back. Watch as we show that process:

Step 3. As the pallet changer tilts backwards up to 110 degrees, it also latches your pallet in place so that it can more easily be changed out. Once the pallet changer is tipped as far back as the machine can go, the pallet is brought back down to floor level. Watch as we show that process:

Step 4. Using a pallet truck, replace your pallet. Watch as we show that process:

Step 5. Go back to the controls and press the button to bring the new pallet back up to the load. Once he pallet is securely under the load, the pallet changer begins to move back down to floor level. Using a pallet truck, pull out the load from the pallet changer. Watch as we show that process:

And there you have it! The V Changer is a very quick and easy-to-use pallet changer.
